Trailers fail to even show up on all devices (not even in the play queue; only the preroll and the movie). Trailers are enabled for movies in theater in the server settings.
Trailers just never seem to be available at all on any device, regardless of any settings. This issue has been ongoing since May 2024.
This is a primary feature for which I decided to purchase a monthly Plex Pass. However, it is no longer functioning. Am I to continue paying for features which I desire but are not functional? Would you?

Sorry for the delay. Your logs indicate your server is having trouble connecting to the service that provides the trailer information. Looks like your computer is setup to use ip 8.8.8.8. That’s Google’s DNS server. Not sure how your computer is using that. Fix your computer to use a normal local IP address and hopefully that will fix your issue.
I changed the IP address and restarted plex server, but still no dice.
8.8.0.1 is my gateway (can’t change it), so I was just using all 8s to make finding the server easier. It never has had an issue connecting to anything else except trailers, and it used to play those as well in this ip.
