I recently have tried to add my music collection to plex. I have used itunes pretty much since it came out to manage my library. I setup PMS (W11), enabled itunes plugin, created a music share, pointed it to my itunes library. Took a couple of days to finish scanning (260GB’s) and all seemed well but I’m running into some issues:

When importing playlist from itunes I always get this error “Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again”. After I click off of that error the playlist actually do show up but with some caveats. Can someone help me figure out what this error is?

The playlists show up but they are all missing songs. Anywhere from a couple to dozens. Weird thing is the songs are in plex and I can manually add them into the playlist and they work fine. Why are they being skipped on import though? I’ve noticed some are title names have letters that contain a tilde or something similar. example: Ñ or Ø and if I change that to n and o they show up fine the next time I import the playlist. Not sure why that fixes some of the tracks. The rest are normal syntax that are not showing up.

Randomly song titles are missing in albums. I have to take them out of itunes, rescan plex, put them back in, rescan and they usually work. Any other fix for this?
Since the collection is so big I’m overwhelmed with what to do. Pretty much everything is tagged pretty well in Itunes but it would prob take me months to go through album by album seeing what is working and not working in Plex. Any suggestions?
