Importing iTunes playlists

After several failed attempts, I recently was able to successfully get PLEX up and running on my Mac Mini running Big Sur. I exported my Music library and pointed PLEX to it - according to Console, my Music playlists were imported. I then directed PLEX to “Import from iTunes”. However, after about a minute, the import process stops and I get this message: “Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again.” Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been experiencing the exact same problem. The Import from iTunes process never completes without the error message. So frustrating!

Why is this happening?
