Hi,
I have watched a few movies today, closed the plex desktop application, came back a few minutes later, opened the app, it initiated an update and all I get now is “Something went wrong”. The content loads fine for a second, all movies appear, but then it all goes away and all I get is “An unexpected error occurred”. Same problem is with the browser based plex. There was a splash screen talking about some new discover feature and whatnot, which I thoroughly ignored as I wasn’t interested.
I have tried stopping and restarting plex process on the NAS. No luck.
NAS: Synology DSM 7
Plex version: 1.25.8.5663-7000
EDIT: I can’t even get into the Settings menu in the application, which makes me think this is more likely a botched client patch rather than a server side problem.
EDIT2: The client application won’t even let me sign out, so that’s definitely not a server side issue. I have also tried to uninstall the client app, download the latest one from plex and install. Same problem
Thoughts?
