Sonic Analysis as a Scheduled Task

I have a music library and I do not have Sonic Analysis turned on. I have exactly one music library for all of my music. There are approximately 90k tracks in this library. I do however have sonic analysis on as a scheduled task and as new media is added.

I had the Sonic Analysis turned by editing the library but this caused my server (Ubuntu 18.04LTS) to be basically screaming away until it would literally shut down) so I turned it off.

Will sonic analysis occur on my machine? I would enjoy the feature but with a library so large it would take weeks to complete even at running full steam ahead.

If your server literally shuts down under load, I would try to get that fixed, that ain’t right. Then just let Sonic Analysis run until it finished.
