Do you think that albums from two different artists can be too Sonically Similar, to be marked as Sonically Similar?
I have just analysed albums by Steely Dan and the covers band Nearly Dan, and neither artist shows the other as Sonically Similar.
Perhaps they are just too close and so the analysis doesn’t show the connection, just as it doesn’t (correctly) appear to connect multiple albums by the same artist.
I have no idea how it works … but I would love it if they would show us more info, and give us some knobs to tweak.
Your result does seem counterintuitive.
