I have a Bravia KDL-32W705C and have always used Plex player for Opera TV. Recently when I launch it it says the application was blocked because of a problem. Strange because it worked flawlessly, any official statement regarding the end of support for this platform?

Search for “vewd” on here and on google. The OperaTV store and apps are not going to work, and you’ll have to find a work around.
There is not because there has been no “real” official statement about the OperaTV store closing even though apps are experiencing this. Its not just Plex.
Actually all the other apps like Netflix, Youtube etc still work on my Bravia, the only one that gives the error is Plex. It says the application was suspended because of reported errors…
I did some searches but I’m a bit confused: Sony claims they are dropping support for Vewd stor (Opera TV) on Android TV based smart TVs only, they don’t say anything regarding “old” smart TVs dropping Vewd support, actually they say it should keep working. On the other hand on this forum it seems that the plex app has a lot of problems after the switch to vewd, maybe because of some changes… I don’t use the opera TV app so often right now (I have my server hooked directly to the TV) but I remember it working fine about a month ago, and now it seems it’s been removed due to some issues.
