Currently when installing the Plex addon on the smart TV it says there are too many problems and it cannot be opened.
Is this being worked on?

What happened to Plex on the Opera TV Store and Sony TV App Store?
Up until a few days ago the Plex app on the Opera TV store was working fine with full Plex pass. Now in place of the app is a black space with the message that "Plex is currently unavailable in the Opera TV Store"
Plex has also disappeared from the app section of my Sony TV, the app went offline on the TV a few days before the Opera Store. The message on the Sony TV app reads "This application has been disabled because of reported problems"

The Opera store app seems to be back up and running but but there's now no direct app in the Sony App Store, any feedback from plex on the status of the Sony TV app would be appreciated.
has there been any movement on this, as I have a friend who's Sont tv I have been trying to enable the plex app on through opera with no success other than getting the access code on numerous occasions.
Are you developing a native app or not and if so when, or are you going to fix the app within opera?

I have a Sony 4K TV and Plex works great on it.
First I deleted the Plex app from Opera and stopped using Opera completely.
The original Plex app can be found on the Sony App page.
This works a treat as it seems all the bugs have been fixed.
If you still have problems, reset your TV to factory reset and then do the above (miss the Opera bit).
It will work :)
where abouts is the Sony app page, as I couldn't find it anywhere else other than via opera? do I need to be a plex pass subscriber?

These pics can show you where I found the Plex app (I know you can see Plex on the first slide, but that is because I've already found it and added it to my apps for ease of activation).

I understand the frustration and the team is looking into a couple of things already like an availability list on which model exactly it can be installed and a fix so settings will stay saved and ofcourse a way to add the app to the home screen (instead of having to go into opera every time). 3D is something that needs to be looked at.
