Hello,

Is this something you guys are working on?

What is the model number? Does the TV had a smarthub app store?
Hi,
It's a Sony X9005A.
I don't know, it's a normal smart TV with all kind of different apps (it also has an opera store)
Stupid me. For some reason my brain registered Sony as Samsung. There is no Plex app for Sony TVs. But you can use DLNA to browse your Plex server and watch media on your TV. It's just a very basic interface to use.
or you could plug a chromecast into it, not sure how it would look on a 4k TV
Hi,
Yes, already use a chromecast - basically it works quite well, haven't experienced any problems so far.
It only shows the content and not all the additional info, therefore I miss the cinema feeling :-(
If you need to pause a movie for whatever reason - get your mobile again and stop it there...
I hope that at one point the guys here have developed the Plex Home Center also on NAS (Readynas 516 with HDMI port) or make chromecast look like a real client.
I dont have a Sony TV but I think there should be an app.
Yes, it should be but it's not :-(
