Sort by resolution simply doesn't work

I gotta say, this is a bit odd of thing to be making me so upset about, but I just don’t understand why it doesn’t work.

I have over the years replaced 720p with 1080p content, and deleted the 720p stuff to save space. But, with the accumulation of 4K content I have opted to not delete the old 1080p stuff to ensure that anyone watching from the server wouldn’t require transcoding and could just Direct Play.

However, asking the server to sort films by resolution does not show these 4K films in any discernible order. Sure, at the top of the sorted list there are some 4K films, but they end quickly and we get to the 1080p ones. Then, a litter further down, more 4K content.

like, effing sigh… why does it do this?

Yes. I’m seeing my only 4K video listed between 480p and 1080p HD content.

It’s strange that this is how it sorts by resolution, right? I’m not bonkers here?
