Sorting navigation bar on Android TV on a Mi TV Stick

Server Version#: 1.25.6.5577
Player Version#:8.30.2.31202

Nowhere can I see a way of sorting libraries in the navigation bar. I can’t find any articles about it.

On the server I unpinned all libraries and then repinned them in the required order.
I rebooted the PC.
I switch off the TV so that the Mi TV Stick reboots.
Makes no difference, library order remains unchanged.

The library customizations are per client (e.g. to support different use cases on your mobile vs. the big screen.

On your Android TV:
While navigating the sidebar you should notice an icon with 3 stacked dots left of the library name. Click that to open the library context menu. There you’ll find the options to pin/unpin and order your sidebar items.

Screenshots in the related support articles might look slightly different but the functionality is the same

Not in the Player.

On what version of the Plex for Android TV are you experiencing this?

I assume so - it is in the bottom right corner of Settings - General.
And it looks like a serial/build number.

Can you verify you’re actually running the app in tv mode?
Settings > Experience > Application Layout > TV

I went through all settings, nothing vaguely like TV as a selection.
Experience only has Background Music, Play Trailers, …
Nearest to Application Layout is Dark, Light, Classic, …

Based on your screenshot you likely need to fix the overscan on your TV or in that devices settings, as the menu items seem too close to the left. When a library such as Special Videos is focused like in your screenshot move left and hit enter/select on your remote.

100% correct. It works.
Fixing the overscan is something else. :grinning:

Thanks to you @BigWheel and @tom80H for your help.
