Unable to reorder pinned libraries in the sidebar

On a Nvidia Shield TV client using Uno when I attempt to reorder the pinned libraries by selecting “reorder” I just get taken back to the home screen.

Android-TV 7.18.0.11113.

Logs from client are attached. Latest attempt to reorder was at 13:59 logging.txt (2.4 MB)

When you click re-order on a source it will “pick up” that source, navigating up and down should move the item, when you accept the changes it will drop the item in it’s new location.

Hi, no that’s not what’s happening.

After selecting reorder the library that I’m reordering does not have arrows to indicate that it can be moved up and down. Also after selecting reorder the item which is highlighted is “Home” not the library I’m reordering e.g “Music”. So it’s not “picking up” the source. Therefore moving up and down doesn’t change anything.

This is different behaviour that I’m used to from Roku Uno which works the way you described.

Interesting. How many libraries do you pinned?

7 including Live TV & DVR.

Found a way to reproduce that! Thanks for reporting, will get it fixed.

Just thought that I would add that the original poster is not alone. I have exactly the same issue on a Sony Android TV using the app. Deleted the app, cleared stored data from the app and reinstalled from fresh and the same problem occurs immediately as soon as you do the initial system led setup.

Changes made to customise the ‘Home Screens’ are not applied either.

Would really appreciate the Plex steer on getting round this even if it is just acknowledgement that it is still being actively worked on.

Can provide logs to assist if helpful.

We are aware of the issue and fixing it is a work in progress.

The only way we’ve been able to reproduce it is with the “Don’t keep activities” developer option enabled so if you have that on your could turn it off, otherwise we’ll have the fix ready as soon as possible.

Thanks SamFromPlex it was indeed enabled and with it disabled I can now reorder.

Great! We are working on improvements so this won’t be a problem in future. Can’t say when that be done but hopefully not too far down the track!
