Spatial audio on Apple TV 4k not working (new player)

I’m trying to play a show with a native AC3 5.1 audio track (see full media info below).

Using the new Plex player I can not enable spatial audio (it says “unavailable” if I open the menu to control the AirPods settings). Switching to the old player allows me to enable spatial audio perfectly fine. This tells me it must be an issue with the new Plex player. Could you please try to solve this issue? Using the old player is not a suitable workaround as it can not play a ton of video formats without transcoding…
