Hello! I’m a new plex user and i use the PS4 app and the Windows Desktop Version. I have over 100 of my home media uploaded to plex now but it seems like no matter what i do the cartoon miniseries " Over the garden Wall" and All but the final episode of the anime Hellsing Ultimate wont be picked up by plex. I’ve matched their naming contentions to the episodes on IMDB. These are MP4 files and MKV files respectively. Any info i can provide to help i’ll do my best.
Is this the proper selection for “Over The Garden Wall” ?

The most common problem with Plex not being about to recognize your media and retrieve the information (metadata) from the internet is because how you have named the file. All Plex uses is the name and your structure.
The recommended structure (there is a ‘media preparation’ link in my signature) is:
Series Name/
Season n/
Series Name - SxxEyy - Optional Title.extension
Where “n” is the season number
Sxx and Eyy join together to uniquely identify “Episode y of Season x”.
There are two tools to help you with the naming if you wish. They lookup the information at thetvdb and then help you reformat (rename) your files so Plex will most readily accept them. TheRenamer and FileBot
I use this format (Filebot ‘template’): (I have linux and my TV library starts at: /syno/tv)
/syno/tv/{n}/Season {s}/{n} - {s00e00} - {t}
{n} is the name placeholder, {s} is the season, {s00e00} is the SxxExx placeholder, and {t} is the title.
