i have a sporadic issue i can’t seem to pinpoint or duplicate but it’s happened to me three times this week so it appears not to be just a one-time glitch and i suspect others may be experiencing it, too.
the problem is that the audio from the current episode plus the one previously viewed are both played simultaneously over the video stream for the current episode.
what has precipitated this in each case was finishing one episode of a show then hitting the next button to start another. it begins without obvious issue and the video is fine but i get both audio tracks — the audio from the episode and the previous one, both clearly audible with the spoken dialog completely understandable when it’s not both speaking at the same time.
this is on my gen9 ipad with the latest public version (non-beta) of the plex app. i’m not experiencing this type of situation with other apps on the ipad and i have both restarted multiple times and redownloaded the plex app between it happening previously and the latest time.

This has been happening to me extremely consistently on two generations of iPad since the last big update; it occurs for me both in playlists and when shuffling a show, but not often when playing one episode to the next in sequence.
This happens to me maybe 20-30% of the time and has for the past 3 or 4 iOS releases.
It only happens when I let the new episode start playing after finishing one. So the previous episode ends, I wait the 5 seconds and the new one starts but I hear both the audio of the new episode and the previous episode while see the video of the new episode.
This occurs in both PiP mode and standard playback mode.
