SRT subtitles not displayed even when selected

Hello,

I’m having problem with subtitles on NVidia Shield Plex Player. When I use Web client 3.73.2, external SRT subtitles are displayed. On Shield with Plex Player, external SRT subtitles are selected, but not showing on screen.

Any tips what to check?

If it’s anything like the Roku then there might be a global on/off option within the Shield.
