My primary OpenPHT client is an MSI Cubi mini-PC with a Core i3, 8GB DDR3L and 64GB mSATA SSD. It was originally pretty stable on 1.6. When I upgraded to 1.7, it became very flaky. Sections of the screen blinked and flashed. Navigation got wonky. I upgraded to 1.8. Same issues. Then I thought it might be an upgrade related issue, so I did a clean install with 1.8. Nope. I had all of the same problems. I wiped the machine again and went back to 1.6. About a week ago, a new issue started happening. Video playback will stop randomly and the screen will go black for a few seconds, then playback will resume. This happens pretty frequently.
The odd part is that I do not have similar issues with 1.8 running as a Windows client on a different box, nor did I have any issues with 1.7 running on a Wetek Hub. It seems to be specific to the embedded x86 clients.
Any thoughts?
