So when using an android device to control a plex stream to chromecast when i jump forward 30 seconds, i have to wait until the video starts playing to jump forward another 30. Same applies to going backwards. TWICE in the last year for a day or two i am able to do multiple jumps without waiting for the video to load. I would absolutely LOVE if this was a reliable thing. Even if i knew why sometimes it works and most the time it doesn’t i could work on my network or whatever normally doesn’t allow this to function.
The few times it HAS worked, i can do it on any of my 3 chromecasts, some connected via ethernet, some wireless. Some 1st gen, some 2nd gen. As far as i can tell there is no rhyme or reason to the random times it has functioned. Would really appreciate this being a reliable thing because it really sucks waiting for the video to load when im needing to do 4-5 “jumps” in succession.
