So I started rating my songs as they play. I then went over and made a playlist with the criteria of any song with 4 starts, put in the playlist.
After a few days I went and looked at the playlist, and what I found was some of the songs that I rated, also added other copies of that song as well to the playlist, even though I rated just the one song.
Example, I was playing Led Zeppelin II, and rated “What is and what should never be” as 4 stars. When looking at the playlist it took the version from the Led Zeppelin Box Set, as well as the remastered version and also rated them as 4 stars, and so now I had 3 songs in the playlist … this seemed really odd to me.
The other odd thing is this was not consistant with other songs that I have multiple versions of.
Is this a bug, or is this the way it was intended to work?
Beyond the obvious of not wanting the song to repeat in the playlist, I would prefer to hear the remastered version of the song when playing the playlist.
My server is on a Mac running Sierra, and has all the latest updates for the server as well as PLEX running on it
Any help would be appreciated.
