I don’t know if anyone else has been able to correct this issue, but I can’t get BOTH the specials and the seasons of the original star trek to match. If I choose DVD it gives me the correct episode ordering (production order) but it doesn’t recognize the specials. If I choose sorting as the movie database Aired then I get the correct specials but the wrong ordering of the episodes in the seasons. The odd thing is that watch.plex.tv has both correct and yet I can’t figure this out. The movie database has everything correct on their website to how I want it, but plex doesn’t recognize this. Help?
Take a look at this show both on TheMovieDB.org and TheTVDB.com
Plex can currently use only the “Aired” order from TheMovieDB, but can use all orders from TheTVDB.
If none of these orderings matches your files, you will have to make a decision and change the numbers of your specials.
OR you add all those specials not as episodes of season 00, but as local extras. But that means they only appear with their file name and no other metadata.
