Episode order in Plex doesn't match TheTVDB

trying to match an old Israeli tv series.

No matter which order i choose (aired, dvd, etc) Plex is showing a different order than the one shown on TheTVDB site. Tried matching the series both by name and by tvdb number. refreshed metadata each time, even did the Plex Dance™. still wrong order.

Edit - it seems that Plex is using the order from TMDB for some reason?

There were no connection links set between the listings of that series on TVDB and TMDB. I have added these now, but you’d need to confirm if the episode ordering on TMDB is the intended or not.

I think its the other way around.
The order on TheTVDB is the correct one. But Plex is pulling the order that is showing up on TMDB (which is very weird if you say there was no connection, and I made sure to select “TheTVDB (Aired)” for episode ordering under Advanced.

It might be necessary to not only connect TMDB and TVDB at the show level.
If they have different episode orderings, you might need to create links between the individual episodes on both websites.

(You’d need to connect episodes of the same title, not of the same episode number.)

Thanks for your help, I’ll try to edit it on site and see if it has any effect on it

Keep in mind that edits have a delay of at least 72 hours, before they have any consequence in Plex.
