Stargate SG-1 Aren't Seen by Plex

Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: unknown

I just put the files for Stargate into my TV Shows folder. At first it saw SG-1 but not the other series (Universe and Atlantis).
\Stargate\Stargate SG-1
\Stargate\Stargate Universe
\Stargate\Stargate Atlantis

So I removed the main folder for Stargate and just put the 3 series folders on the root of the TV Shows.
Rescanned and it sees the series folders, but noting inside of them.

I tried doing the Plex Dance, but not sure I did it right. Instructions aren’t very precise.

You can delete files, empty trash, re-add, etc. all you want, but with the current public version it don’t work. I’ve been trying to get it to recognize The Last Ship season 5 episodes, and it refuses. Based on what I can see it’s not erasing the original entries.

Ok, so followed those instructions to the T and the same result. My naming for the files is:
Stargate SG-1.S01E01.iNT.DVDRip.XviD-LOCK.ext

Isn’t seen in the folder.

I have Stargate SG-1 in my library and it matches. I have it named as follows:

Stargate.sg1.s01.e03.(1997)

I’m using TheTvDB as my agent if that matters at all.

In PMS, go into TV and sort by folders. What do you see in the Stargate SG-1 folder?

a message that says: ā€œThere are no items in this folder.ā€ Not even the Season folders show up.

I’m using TheTvDB as my #1 agent as well.

Please upload logs, since this might be a permission error

I’m assuming you’re nesting these folders underneath a main folder called ā€œTVā€ or something? If so, don’t nest them under the ā€œStargateā€ folder. It’s probably confusing Plex. Just bring those folders out from the nested folder into the main folder, like this:

Before:
D:\TV\Stargate\Stargate SG-1
D:\TV\Stargate\Stargate Universe
D:\TV\Stargate\Stargate Atlantis

After:
D:\TV\Stargate SG-1
D:\TV\Stargate Universe
D:\TV\Stargate Atlantis

Here’s how I have mine set-up and it seems to be working…

i used filebot to name my series and like you i have a TV folder which i set as root of the library
to my drive it is Drive letter :\TV\Tv Series\Stargate\SG-1 1997\Season # Replace # for the correct season

Season 1 Ep 1 is named Stargate SG-1 - 1x01-02 - Children of the Gods

they matched fine and download correctly however like you see some two parters needed a different naming.

i use thetvdb as my agent and the only time i have ever had issues is when my server account for windows did not have permissions to read and write the files.

That nesting was the first way I did it. I pulled everything out of the Stargate folder and deleted it. Did the Plex Dance and put just 1 season of SG-1 in and Plex saw it. Put the rest in and it only sees Season 1 and Season 10. Nothing in between.

I have a near-identical file naming scheme, but I set up the folders differently, and I leave out the show name since it’s already in the folder:

D:\Television\Stargate SG-1 (1997)\10x10 - The Quest (1).mp4

The D:\Television\ folder is the folder I crawl with Plex. It picks it up perfectly.

then perhaps try this structure for Season 2
Stargate SG-1 - 2x01 - The Serpent’s Lair
Show Name - Season#xEpisode Number - Episode Title
