I listen to playlists over full albums, I mainly make those playlists up by “starring” songs and then creating filters etc. Have recently noticed some rogue songs appearing on my playlists and took some time today to do some investigation…
It looks like albums with more than one disc causes problems, if I rate track 3 as a “5 Star” track on disc one, then track 3 on disc two (and disc three) will also be attributed with the 5 Star rating. If I remove the stars from the tracks on disc 2 and 3, it also removes them from the track I want to be starred on disc 1.
All my music is tagged using mp3tag and all artist/genre/disc numbers etc are accurately tagged.
Anyone come across this before, any suggestions as to how to fix?
