Starting Plex Server from a different Windows User account on same PC

Server Version#: 4.22.2
Player Version#: n/a

Maybe this is a unique situation, but I could use some guidance before I go any further.

I had started and configured Plex Server on a PC. Did this under Windows
Account (user1). Everything was working fine. Then, for unrelated reasons, I needed to create a different Windows User Account/login on that PC (lets call it user2). My intention is to continue running Plex Server from now on via that Windows Account user2.

When I logged out of Windows and back into Windows user2, Plex Server was no longer running. So I found Plex Server in the start menu and restarted it. At that point it acted as if this was a brand new installation. I assume this is because all of Plex’s settings, database, etc. was stored within the UserData files for user1.

So that’s OK, I just had to reconfigure it, point to the existing libraries and let Plex rebuild another copy of its database under the new user2 Windows UserData folder. My intent is to continue using Plex Server from user2 account.

I may periodically login to that machine via user1 now and then. So my question is this…
What should I do to prevent Plex Server from starting up again on the next login for user1?
Any other things I should do to keep things from getting messed up?

I’m thinking at a minimum I should go delete the Plex folders/files in user1 UserData.

Any guidance is most appreciated. Especially if you have direct experience with this scenario.

If it starts up, disable the Autostart by right-clicking the Plex task tray icon.

Do also remove the Plex registry branch from under this user account, to prevent an accidentally starting server from confusing Plex.tv

Removing the Plex data folder is strictly optional.
You could also copy its contents over to the other user account, thus preserving all your old watched status etc.
