Status of the Rasplex project?

Once again, a plea for an official update regarding the status of the Rasplex project.

When Plex killed PHT, thus went the only decent official Plex client. We were left dependent on things like Rasplex which were the only things that kept Plex a palatable media player given the abomination that is PMP. Before I give up on Plex entirely (a shame, since I paid for a lifetime PlexPass), is there any hope for either Rasplex to be revived or a suitable alternative (something based on OpenPHT that runs on the RasPi) in the works?

+1 would really like information about the project as well.

Until then i am currently using PMP build from source, i have created a repo / instructions how to build using docker here. https://github.com/pmpbuild/devel

link to discussion about PMP is here https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1644356

Thanks to stedaniels for build instructions, i just translated it into Dockerfile and build script.

Supposedly PHT 2.0 is due towards end of year so my guess will be that Rasplex is the same time.

It would be nice if there was some info from the Project leaders or at least a statement saying they are officially done with the project or what to expect even if it is just once every six months.
