After the most recent update, any media with a stereo track is really, really quiet. 5.1 sounds fine.

Connected to a receiver or directly to TV. Does it matter what type of stereo stream? Ac3, aac, mp3 etc.
I’m connected to a receiver via ARC, everything I tried was AAC. FLAC in a music library is fine, so it doesn’t seem to be all stereo.
Ah, I spoke too soon, stereo FLAC on a video also has the too quiet issue. When using Plex Web, the issue doesn’t appear.
OK thanks. Also i forgot to ask what your audio settings are set to in PMP. (you will need to look while in TV mode) I am assuming the volume on your computer and/or PMP ( + key ) are turned all the way up
Just trying to reproduce here.
Potential snag: I was prompted to update PMP and now none of my libraries or home screen will load. It’s version 2.37.1.994-ac3132ba.
In Plex, Audio is set to HDMI, 5.1, the reciever as the target device, and normalize and exclusive mode are on. Pass through is on and working (at least, it did before) for everything.
edit: my bad, forgot I had UNO on. I turned it off but am still having the *audio issue.
Bumping
sorry i lost track of this. I have not been able to reproduce this yet.
No worries, but I’m not sure what else it could be. I’m pretty sure this started right after the client updated and audio of the same content sounds fine on the Roku app and the Chromecast.
