Stereo pairing not working with Plex on 2x echo plus speakers - works on one when not paired

Hi, as I now have a lifetime pass for plex i’ve been setting up my house for music, was just using plex for movies until now. I have 2x echo plus speakers, I’d set them up for stereo pairing ages ago and they never worked, but back then stereo pairing wasnt working for any echo devices. This got fixed and i’ve had confirmation that this should now be working but it isnt for me.

If I disabled stereo pairing and just play from one speaker it works but if I pair them again it just plays from one speaker again ignoring the pairing.

There isnt much to setup on these, you just pair them and off you go, is there anything different to you have to say to ALEXA, I’m just saying stuff like “alexa, ask plex to play music by the beatles” - do I have to form the request in another way, or are these speakers no longer supported?

did plex only get access to the stereo pairing API for newer generations of echo speakers, can anyone else confirm its working for them and if so which type of echo speakers do you have paired?

also, where is support for plex, what am I paying for here, to have my posts completely ignored, is there anyway to log a tick for a paying customer?
