Still no activity dashboard

Just installed Version 1.15.0.647. Why is there still no activity dashboard included with the built in web app?

I can’t use the hosted one, as my BT router doesn’t resolve the address, and it is not fixable.

Why not hardcode your server to use another dns instead of dhcp?

It’s in the Plex Media Player for Windows.

I should have been clearer… Using the hosted web app, results in an indirect connection, due to DNS rebinding I think.

So I have to use the local address, which still does not have the web app which includes the activity dashboard.

In Win10 & MacOS you can set the system to use DHCP for IP addresses and still set specific DNS servers. That should help with DNS rebinding, as your PC is bypassing BT’s DNS.

Neither the server or the client use BT’s DNS servers. They both use Cloudflare. I don’t think it is anything to do with DNS servers out on the internet.

Edit: Ok, I’m confused… I just tried again, and it’s working fine and not indirect. I haven’t changed anything!!

Edit2: Maybe they have changed something. It says it is remote. So I presume same problem. Accessing via local IP address says Nearby.

Anyway, just not sure why the version of the web app with activity dashboard that was available in Dec last year is still not included in the latest beta version of PMS.
