this is my network after 6 hours
no lost packets average ping of 3.2
So no fix to Plex yet then ? Not seen any other updates come out yet
just been playing on the same network , on the same wifi but just from my phone
and it did not stop (also tried web interface ok there as well)
but playing on the shield or the amazon TV it still does stop randomly
(same wifi point)??
Reading the thread with interest - I have the identical problem. PLEX on NVIDIA shield just randomly exiting every 5-10mins. It’s driving me insane.

just tried chrome cast to the shield direct from my phone (chrome cast not plex cast)
and worked fine also
so this is down to build … of the client for shield and fire …

@trumpy81 Reading the thread with great interest as well. Upgraded to Nvidia Shield (500Go) 7.0 a few days ago. Updated Plex server and client components. Since then when I stream from the Shield Plex server to Shield Plex player, every video stalls after 30 to 35 minutes. When I stream to iPad, it stalls even quicker (5 to 6’). Have to close (cross on the top right), and restart (I don’t have to quit the app). Before this upgrade has been working without any hiccups. If I stream the very same files from the HTPC to Shield Plex Player it plays fine. There is definitely something wrong with Shield Plex server. Everything is wired to a 1Gb/s network.
so today
amazon boxes got a plex update lots and lots updated , some related to the the new player, but so far something in there looks like it has fixed them , the sheild i think got a update as it seems to be working as well so far
so troubleshooting (with everything) i went through
did not point to the client/s being the problem 
streaming to 3 of thew devices at the same time to see if it is fixed , will see shortly
