Stops playing before movie ends

Player Version#: 4.90.1

Several movies from playing from remote, stops around 1 minute +/-, before the movies ends. It freezes the image and don’t play the rest of the movie. With any player from remote. If playing on my local nvidia shield it doesn’t happen.

You should enable the logs in PMS, forward to the end of the movie where the error happens, play until the error. Then save the logs & attach them here.

Maybe disable DEBUG as its providing too much info & do the logs again.

Please dont debug is what is preferred for logs, VERBOSE is what floods the logs with useless content.

What were you playing when it crashed (might help track down the relevant information)

It seems that Plex for Android 9.12.2 fixed that issue:

FIXES:

  • Player: ensure Plex content can be fully watched to the end.
