Video playback keeps stopping, no error

A friend was trying to stream ‘Where the Crawdad’s Sing’ from me on her Samsung Galaxy S21 and the movie would start and right after that, just abruptly stop. No errors just stop. Was happening around 8:45pm? She eventually switched to watching it on her TV and was fine.

The log files do not contain enough information.

  1. Please re-enable debug level logging. Do not enable verbose logging.
    Settings → Server_Name → General + Show Advanced.

  2. Restart Plex Media Server.

  3. Recreate the problem, pull a fresh set of log files, and upload to the thread.

I enabled the debug logging but I think the problem is solved. After talking to the user a little more it sounds like the issue they are running into is the limitation of the free version of the phone app where playback just stops after a minute. Sorry.
