Is it normal for this app to be using 1.2 GBs of space? Is there a way of reducing it?
…other than the usual, uninstall app and reinstall…
Try Settings-> Advanced-> Reset cache. Mine was 300mb reduced to bit over 50
Can you be more specific on your instructions? I looked in all places where there are “Settings” and could not find the path you indicate. I am down to 1GB now, but still no control…
@gdkinsman: you might be looking at the iOS Settings app. What was referred to by Bartlomiej Baronies was the settings within the Plex app itself. Try this: open the Plex app, tap on the icon in the upper right corner with the 3 horizontal stacked lines, then tap on Settings (next to the gear icon), next tap on Advanced. Scroll all the way to the bottom and there you will find the Reset Cache option, 2nd from the bottom. Hope that helps!
I looked at " all places where there are ‘Settings’ ", including Plex. In Plex, there is no three bar icon in the upper right, although there are three bars in the upper right of the Chrome. Are you talking about the browser or the web Plex app? In the upper right of of Plex when on the home page, there are three icons: a wave form, tools that are crossed, and a log in dropdown.
Ok, when using the iPhone app for Plex, that is where you find the three bars. Thanks.
Yep, sorry I meant the Plex app for iOS.
