Strange behavior with 1 channel

Server Version#: 1.41.0.8992
Player Version#: Roku Plex App
Tuner Make/Model: Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD
Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?: unfamiliar with this so I will say no
Channel number/Name: 8.1 WVUEDT

I started to watch a channel that is normally just fine. But it began clipping out as if it was reception but typically that is not an issue. Given the trouble I had on another post I thought it was related. But I looked at the transcode info and hardware was not being used at all. And it was going from MPEG2 to MPEG2 (I think, that’s from memory). I just stopped and started the stream about 10 times and got the same “clipping” and a few disconnects. But at one point it started to work and the stream was stable. And sure enough, it was using hardware and was showing MPEG2 to 264.

Not sure what that’s about but was hoping to avoid it in the future. Thanks.

Logs are from the time of the issue (log 1) and then during it working fine (log 2).

I like the forums support method as it lets one guy help the next. But when it’s your only method of support and little effort is put into it by the company it’s just an exercise in frustration. If I were using Plex for free I would understand, but I am not. So functionally having almost no support is really unacceptable in my opinion once funds have changed hands.
