I had not posted a PM for 3 and 1/2 hours…

Yeah, the chimps went on break and the humans took over for a while. 
I just tried to post in a forum thread.
It said I had posted 5 times in 60 seconds and I now have a spam block for 120 seconds.

The whole PM module appears to be messed up (primary)… We’ve already notified Vanilla.
Whatever is going on in the PM module messes up the rest of the system
There was an update to Vanilla that messed things up, i also had same issues as here on another forums as well that uses Vanilla.
Was getting the above mentioned Spam block on both PM’s and posting on the forum itself.
What a Saturday! … so I’m out in the backyard grilling up some chicken kabobs over a wood fire, enjoying a cold one (or three), and blasting tunes from my PMS when I get pinged. I’m thinking, “everything seems fine here on the left coast” when bam, I see what others are seeing. I wish it was an April Fools gag.
An issue ticket was filed earlier today (my Saturday) with our forum vendor, Vanilla, and they have since acknowledged the issue and are investigating it. As of now we don’t have any further updates from Vanilla, but are tracking it.

Thanks everyone for your patience as we all experienced issues with our forum on Saturday. I’ve heard back from Vanilla and things should be back to normal now.

Thanks @BigStevie1973. I’ve reached out to Vanilla to let them know users are still experiencing issues.
I’m told by Vanilla that an additional fix was applied on Monday morning. Anyone still experiencing these issues?
