I am a new Plex user but highly technical (I have worked in IT for 20 years now for a living and work with support). I am having no local or personal device issues with Plex whatsoever with my Netgear Readynas 102 and iOS device, TiVo, or web based desktop “app”.
Problem is that every time I share folder to a registered PLEX friend, it shows as shared in the portal, but once he goes in, it seems to immediately disconnect the share.
I am currently accessing this same friend’s content with no issues on any my devices - no issues whatsoever. It’s only when I share to him. I think this has been attempted 8 times where my friend “sees” me for a moment, then cannot access my share, and then my admin screen no longer shows the folder as shared. This has nothing to do with the 1 minute limit - I am enrolled in the 30 day trial and should not have any restrictions.
Looking for some assistance if anyone here happens to have any suggestions.
