Are there any plans to include the ability to record from streaming services (look up the app PlayOn). I believe it would add great benefit for those of us wanting to truly cut the cord. Would let anyone who wanted to then have basic subscriptions to things like HULU and be able to skip ads, while still recording the major networks over-the-air. I’m currently working on a work-around to make this happen using a Plex server, but would be great if it could be included in the package itself.
Plex will certainly not allow you to “record” streams from other streaming services.
Otherwise it will get sued out of existence faster than you can say “aiding and abetting”.
