I have a few shows in my watchlist - that when I click on them to watch, I get “Could not find anywhere to watch this episode”. One is “shining vail” on starz and the other is “lust” on hbomax. Both shows are on their respective services. I have both starz and hbomax on my streaming services in settings. Also deleted and re-added them to watchlist and same thing happens. Just seems like there is a disconnect on these two shows. Anyone have any ideas?
The discover feature relies on the database on which shows are available where on Watch.plex.tv. If that database doesn’t know where the show is, the Discover feature will not find it either.
Lust doesn’t show up as available anywhere for me either.
Shining Vale… does? it lists DirecTV and Starz as services that stream it. If it doesn’t show in the discover feature for you, I THINK at that point it might be region-based. I hear other people have issues, they seem to be outside the US. Perhaps Plex’s database on where some shows can be seen isn’t accurate for non-US locales, so improperly shows as unavailable there.
Thanks for the reply. Interesting, Lust is a swedish show but still on hbomax. Maybe something with the foreign language shows?
I am in the US and Shining Vale still does not show for me. Different verisons of the database?
I’m having the same problem with Netflix. Some shows I know are available to me in my country (New Zealand) are not giving Netflix as a place to watch.
