Streaming stops after 94 minutes

OK, so I don’t really know what I’m looking for, but I have noticed this.

The bit I noticed was “short read” and then the session seems to stop/close.

Update: A colleague suggested that the application I am using may be the issue as it may be adding someing to the container that is stopping/shutting down the stream. So I ripped a new movie using Handbrake. The result was the same.

We have fully liminated any network hardware issue by replacing the switches as well.

I’m currently working on getting a different brand smart TV so see if it is an issue with Panasonic clients.

You aren’t going nuts, I was just browsing the forums for somethign else and saw the topic.
This happens on my Panny DX-902B as well, I hadn’t timed it but whenever we watch a film near the end it craps out with the buffering symbol and I have to exit the app and go back in to fix it.

Streaming off a NAS via my main PC which is way way way above spec.

I am currently trying to get a diffirent brand of smart TV to see if it is the client or PMS itself.

i think it’s a Problem with Panasonic Smart TV App :frowning:
Also have the problem of a Synology Plex Server with Panasonic 50DX784.

I think there are still more people who are just not all. I suspect for the development, the problem is too small to develop a fix and publish because Samsung is buying more :frowning:

Panasonic is still on v1 of the app, all other smart TVs are on v2 because there is no nice way to detect if the TV has a good enough processor to run v2.

To my knowledge there will be no more development on the V1 smart TV app
