Stuttering in Roku Ultra with server 1.18.0.1913

Just updated to the public release of 1.18.0.1913 and am still getting stuttering on my roku ultra. The odd thing is, other roku TVs in the house do not have this issue. only the stand alone Ultra box. All 3 are running Roku app 6.4 build 3. The roku ultra is running on a wired connection. I did not have any issue with the previous public release, but any of the Plex Pass servers of 1.18.x.x have been giving me this issue.Plex Media Server Logs_2019-10-09_19-55-23.zip (3.0 MB)

Hi I took a look at your logs, and while I did notice a couple of errors, it was difficult to narrow down because there was often a lot of simultaneous activity. Would you do us a favor and do the test again using only the stuttering Roku Ultra:

  1. Power cycle all the hardware involved and give PMS about 6-10min to initialize.
  2. Play a video until it stutters on the Ultra
  3. Continue playing 30sec.
  4. Stop the video and wait 60sec.
  5. Go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop
  6. Click Settings - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
  7. Zip up what it gives you and attach it please.

This will show a clean boot, housekeeping, and one issue.
We should also get the XML Media Information for the video.

Here’s are a few logs from earlier, when I upgraded to the newest version of the server. I think I was the only one streaming at the time. I’ve since downgraded back to the previous public release (the last 1.17.x.x version gave me no issues). But I will follow your instructions later tonight and provide a fresh set of logs as well following this post. Okay thanks for working on a new set of log against 1.18.0.1913.

My Roku Ultra is also pixelating and pausing as well as the sound cutting out every 30 seconds with this Version 1.18.0.1913 update. Was fine before this update. Tried it on my Roku 3 and I didn’t have this issue. Seems to only be tied to the Ultra.

Looks like Version 1.18.0.1944 fixed the problem. Kids said that their shows didn’t stop any more. Thanks for the quick fix turnaround on this.

Had to manually download beta 1944 but that resolved my issue. Was going nuts yesterday trying on different devices etc

Yes, I can also confirm that the 1.18.0.1944 also fixed the issue I had on the Roku Ultra.
