I have a WD MyDrive as my server connected via network cable to my Router and a Chromecast Ultra on MY TV Wirelessly connected to my WLAN in the same room as the Router (5 bar signal).
I typically use my phone to choose a video to watch then cast it to my Chromecast Ultra. 90% of the time all is well, but recently I have noticed that some .mkv files are stuttering to play and I have to look for alternatives before I can get one that works well. This can mean taking hours source an alternative version of the file that runs without stuttering.
I never use any videos above 720p as I have had a lot of issues with this in the past. Can anyone suggest what may be causing my issues with these files or issues with the setup I have that coud be rectified?
