Stuttering, Tautulli Showing Low Transcode

Hi!
This is a weird issue. I have a MiBox S. I cannot get smooth playback. I have no issue for about 10 minutes, and then I get buffers, being more and more until it becomes unbearable. I don’t believe that this is an issue with my hardware because I force H264 for the client (due to the known MPEG2 issue on the Xiaomi). I am very confused because I have 2x E5-2630v2’s in my Plex Server and they never go above 20% usage (I have other background apps running) and Plex never goes over 10%. As this continues, eventually the video drops all together and the audio is all that continues until I switch channels. Please let me know any advice you have. I am considering buying a shield because the direct play devices in our household seem to not have this issue – or at least way less frequently. Logs attached.

Did you upgrade your mibox to 9.0? If so that is the problem. It’s a known codec issue. Hdhomerun application has fixed the issue by bypassing that known codec. Emby and Plex are not going to fix it, it’s gone ignored for months . They want Mi box to fix the issue. But it’s been 6 months now and they still have not come out with the fix. I have the same issue. And I have 10 Mi boxes:(.

Also you might want to try rolling back your server to 1. 19. 2… that may fix the problem.
