Is there a way to create clickable subfolders in a library? I am specifically looking to have a Music Library with subfolders such as Albums, FLAC, Live, iTunes, since those are folders I like to separate my music by. I want to be able to search Music and find everything, or narrow it down by searching my FLAC music, maybe sub libraries, etc. Is this possible and I just don’t know how to do it? Maybe with boolean searches, etc., anything?
Not within a library. The only way to do what you are trying to do is to make a library for each type, assuming your files are organized that way on disk.
You could view your library by Folder, but you lose artwork, and maybe some other features.
Thanks, that’s what I figured. I have separate libraries now, just hoping to consolidate with a better method.
The closest thing to a sub-category inside one library would probably be a collection.
You can hide those items just inside the collection or keep them visible inside the main library with everything else
