I recent purchased the lifetime pass and am trying to get some form of Plex up and running for the first time! I was going to use a simple pi3 since I saw pms was supported. Got it installed and running and am now to the point I would like to connect my nas content.
I mounted the share on the pi and can cd to and navigate my content as the ‘pi’ user. My smb share dir structure looks roughly like media/videos/movies/. When I try to add the library through the plex web GUI I can interact with the media folder, but everything under media (videos, music, etc) is not enabled, like a permissions issue.
Does the share need to be writeable?
What permissions are required? The user permissions of the mount are recursively the same for all dirs under media.
