Subfolders

hi, I can’t get how to deal with subfolders.
I have paths like these:
\Data\Movies\Bonus
\Data\Anime\Anime Series

and I have 4 libraries, each one pointing a different folder.
Movies
Bonus
Anime
Anime Series

the problem is the subfolders contents are shown two times,
Bonus are also in Movies and Anime Series in anime.

how to avoid Plex scans the subfolder in a specified Library?

thank you, but I still can’t get it.

If you add the „Movies“ folder, Plex will not only scan that folder but do so recursively. That means the content of your „Bonus“ folder is scanned because it’s directly added to your library AND because it’s a subfolder of the „Movies“ folder (which is linked to your library as well). Hence you end up with duplicate items.

You should try to avoid adding recursive folders to a library. You can have many folders linked to a library but try to comply with the official naming schema and folder structure inside each top-level library folder.

You can have “Bonus” material appear in your Plex library, if you name it suitably.
Look at the help articles which have “extras” in their title.

ok I did it. I’ve separated those folders, thanks
