I’m having problems with subtitles enconding on RPi2. I’ve checked and have the most current version of PMP on Pi2 and PMS on my Ubuntu server according to PlexPass update channel. The thing is that when I play a movie with external subs (downloaded either via opensubtitles or podnapisi plugins) via the browser player on my pc the subs are displayed fine (also checked on my Android devices and it’s ok there too). But when I try to play the same movie with the same subs on a RPi then I’m getting some garbled signes instead of proper ones (like “oe” instead of “ą” etc.).
What can I do to change the default codepage on my Pi’s (I have 3 of them, and this happens on all 3) so that the letters are displayed correctly ? I’ve tried the proposed in some topics srt2utf-8 plugin, but it changed nothing.
