I just got updated to 2.18 on mu appleTV 4k and have the new enhanced player and was expecting to see the ability to control subtitle offsets. But with videos with external set subtitles that option is not present at the bottom of the subtle selection list in the player controls where i expected it. Is this as expected? Am i missing something? or is this a bug?
PMS is the latest release on Mac catalina.
The option only works for me for videos with external subtitles. Internal don’t. It even says so for the option. It says “Adjust offsets” and then in smaller text below “Available only for External Subtitles”.
If subtitles are off I usually select “More…” and pull down some external ones until I find ones that are close (the first ones selected are usually the same as the ones I have embedded), then adjust them.
i am talking about external subtitles. i don’t have an adjust offset option.
are your external subtitles files located with the metadata or next to the video files? mine are next to the video files and i wonder if that is a factor.
