When searching for subtitles on the Plex app either no results are found or the results are irrelevant to the movie/tv show name. But subtitle search is working with inbuilt tv app. Seems to only effect the android tv app.
Keep in mind that the search uses the filename so if you have other things in the name other than just the title and episode number, YMMV.
Also, the search goes directly to OpenSubtitles.org. If they are having issues or your client can’t access their website, you won’t get results or get errors when trying to retrieve the subtitle.
