Hello. I’m running into this issue since forever and its not fixed yet. When playing any media with ssa/ass subtitle some lines skip and doesnt show.

This is really an annoying issue. The files are direct playing with no transcoding. And the subtitles are just texts in ssa format not images. The files work fine without Plex. If there is anything i can do to fix it please tell me.
Edit: The issue appears only on my Nvidia shield and android phone. The issue is more that the subtitle disappears faster than it should I think.
Edit2: Here is a link to a test file. The issue will happen at 00:10 seconds. There should be a “Yes” but it doesn’t appear. The first “Yes” Appears though. The issue will happen only on Plex client for Android/Shield, IT works fine on Plex Windows player or any mediaplayer. Forcing transcode solve the issue but thats not the solution I want.

Unfortunately absolutely no guarantees of any response from Plex… If you’re looking for customer support you’ve selected the wrong software product

Yeah I noticed the lack of support here. But yeah I’ll keep bumping this everyday until they notice it and hopefully fix it. I mean It is so easy to reproduce and I gave them a video sample.
Just recently switched from a kodi plugin for plex to the native plex app on android tv and noticed this problem, frustrating as it’s the only thing from keeping me using the native plex app now.
