I'm having issues with subtitles being played out of sync compared to audio and video, all subs are ~1-2 seconds out. The subtitles are perfectly fine when just playing the file back on the computer.
Are there any ideas on what might be causing this and how to fix it?

When you say fine playing on the computer, you mean via Plex or other player?
Both, although the Plex playing through the browser changes the typeset of subtitles (size, font) where as through the Pi it keeps the correct ones.

This just made subtitles disapear completely.
Is ur pi wired to the router ?
Yes wired network for both the PC running Plex server and the Pi.
Update: Today I have tried changing network cables to the Pi aswell as the previous and experimental versions of rasplex but none of these solved the issue I am experiencing. I have how ever tried a client on another PC and it does not have the same issues so the issue is deffinatly on the Pi side.
