Adjusting subtitle sync used to work on earlier versions, but lately it’s simply missing from the options. Using a Google Chromecast streamer. On my Samsung TV (with the Tv version of the Plex app) the sync options are present.
Are they external subs? it will not work with internal/embedded
Yes, external subs downloaded via the selection menu.
This is a known issue, if you enable the subtitles before starting playback the subtitle sync option is available however enabling the subtitles after playback has started the menu option does not appear.
I’ve tried this with several different videos (enabling subtitles before playing), but the subtitle sync option never appears.
Are you using the native app on a google chromecast tv or are you casting to it from your mobile? I attempted testing it before responding to you and it was appearing for me on the native app.
